Reports to Service Manager

Compensation based on experience and training. The position is eligible for full benefits.

Job purpose: The Equipment Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for preparing rental and customer Marsh Masters for service which includes washing the equipment and performing light maintenance and repairs jobs.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment for service which includes washing equipment, preparing workspace, and moving equipment to service bays
  • Perform routine trailer brake inspections/adjustments on hydraulic and electric brakes following Federal DOT requirements
  • Perform basic repairs on track system
  • Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment
  • May assist in the maintenance, repair, and cleaning of fixed equipment
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English
  • High School diploma
  • Must be reliable and work with excellence

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around equipment
  • Must wear protective equipment as it applies
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Heavy work-exerting up to 100 pounds for force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently

Reports to Welding Foreman

Compensation based on experience and training. The position is eligible for full benefits.

Job purpose: The Welder/Fabricator works in an Original Equipment Manufacturer production facility to fabricate welded components and body of the Marsh Master® amphibious track vehicle. This position also works alongside the service department for welding and fabricating requests.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Fabrication welding of fitted parts and other components
  • Fabricate components from raw materials
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings and associated symbols
  • Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces to assist in fitting and welding
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions as required
  • Leads or assists in layout activities as directed
  • Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process
  • Cleans and prepares material for fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping, including weld passivation
  • Monitor assigned machinery, tools, and equipment while performing routine cleaning and maintenance as directed
  • Follow established safety procedures
  • Employee must demonstrate an attitude which portrays their ability to get along with others, function as a team player, accept constructive criticism from their supervisor and follow established work rules
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes with approved rigging methods as directed
  • Assembly and minor paint related duties may be necessary as needed
  • Ability to pass periodic weld testing
  • Perform other routine duties as directed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to proficiently MIG weld with general knowledge of TIG, and STICK welding
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabricate from those prints
  • Welding on aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and other required materials
  • Ability to proficiently use cutting torch, grinders, saws, and iron worker
  • Familiarity with basic tools of measuring and when to use for inspection of part
  • Knowledge of welding principles and techniques
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Bending, lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds is required

Reports to Service Manager

Job purpose: The mobile heavy equipment technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing Marsh Master® buggies and related equipment. This position is expected to work with excellence and integrity and must be able to work independently and with a team. The mobile heavy equipment technician must be able to receive instruction from superiors and effectively communicate with the service manager and other technicians in the shop.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydrostatic, and electrical problems and perform repairs and maintenance to Marsh Master® buggies and related equipment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis
  • Perform routine trailer brake inspections/adjustments on hydraulic and electric brakes following Federal DOT requirements
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems, electronics, and other components of I.C. hydrostatic driven equipment
  • Removes components for repair or replacement such as, but not limited to injectors, starters, water pumps, radiators, brakes, etc.
  • Create work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information for work performed
  • Coordinate with supervisor and review scope of repairs to prioritize work accordingly
  • Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment
  • May assist in the maintenance, repair and cleaning of fixed equipment
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience on heavy machinery and/or diesel engines
  • Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems
  • Be able to rebuild diesel engines and hydraulic pumps and motors
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English
  • High School diploma
  • Must be reliable and work with excellence
