The MM-1 marsh buggy is the smallest of the marsh buggy models. The Marsh Master I is a fully amphibious track vehicle with the capability of carrying personnel and equipment through stump filled swamps, floating marsh, peat bogs, and deep water crossings. An internal pontoon designed with a unique rubber belt track system makes for a very stable and high floating machine. The floating load capacity is 1000 lbs. The MM-1 buggy has all welded aluminum body and is powered by a 37 hp Kubota diesel coupled to a hydrostatic transmission. Standard features include a front mounted hydraulic winch and a auxillary hydraulic tool circuit capable of running hydraulic open center tools. The compact and light weight design of the MM-1 allows the machine to be towed by a 1/2 ton truck without any special permits. The MM-1 marsh buggy is presently being used by electric utility companies, contractors, surveyors, environmental companies, oil and gas companies, and municipal/government agencies, simply because the MM-1 can go through terrains that limit or stop other track type or wheel type vehicles. MM-1• Spray Rig
The MM-1 marsh buggy can be outfitted with a 55 gallon spray rig for herbicide or pesticide applications. The spray rig unit is rigged with a suction hose and strainer that can simply be dropped into any available water source for quick tank replentishment . This unit works well in applications such as mosquito control or pipeline and ROW maintenance.
